If you saw my last post, my GP scared the bejeezus outta me. Well done to them though for taking something seriously.
I’ve since had, ultrasounds, examinations involving cameras up my nose and down my throat, physical examinations, seen three different specialists, had blood work done, the lot.
I’m actually really impressed with everyone I’ve seen, our NHS is truly remarkable.
The lump it now appears I have to put up with, is completely benign, not worth removing unless it causes more issues, although it is slightly uncomfortable. I’m happy to wait now.
The postal service did let me down, I’ve had to call and get dates for all my appointments as I’ve had no post for weeks! Seems to be a running issue in West Yorkshire right now. Covid has a lot to answer for.
I’m waiting on the result of one last X-ray that should hopefully put me in the clear. Feeling much more positive but I have a lot going on at home so this bit of good news is a very welcome relief.
I am considering writing a little drama on my life, after all it’s been a rollercoaster so far. Watch this space, I’ll write it out on paper before typing it up, mostly because my weird little brain processes hand written work much easier.
Stay safe and if you find anything unusual GET CHECKED OUT! It’s been the least scary hospital experience ever because of all the kind people who work there.
