Thought Re-Framing

Today, I have to admit I’ve felt overly anxious. There doesn’t always have to be an explanation for this feeling, sometimes it just creeps up on me.

This is how I cope:

  1. I stop everything, everything can wait, nothing is so important right now I have to do it immediately.
  2. Breathing exercises! Breath in through my nose for four seconds, hold for four seconds, breathe out for four seconds. Repeat and slowly allow breathing to return to normal.
  3. Put on music, any music.
  4. Allow yourself time to sleep! who cares what time it is, rest is rest and if its needed, its needed!

Remember you are never alone and if you reach out you will find others going through the same, support each other, share ideas, enjoy the rain!
