Wow nearly 4 months have passed and what a learning curve this has been so far.
My new stomach no separates foods into oils so cheeses, crisps, fried foods is a definite no. Or a use sparingly.
What is also a big no is the white meats from chicken and pork. Chicken legs and wings are perfectly fine as is pork crackling but white meat results in immediate sickness.
Instead I find my diet consists of a daily plan such as:
Breakfast items: bananas, toast with a sprinkle of salt and tomato, scrambled or poached egg, protein drinks.
Lunch: Randomly Soba noodles as a treat, half a wrap with ham and skin off cucumber or tuna, or a sandwich thin with a spreadable cheese or sandwich filling with some green salad.
Dinner: half a jacket potato (I still won’t eat this much) with a tiny sprinkle of cheese or beans, meat and vegetables, cottage pie, home made pizza (no cheese), soups, meatballs in a homemade sauce.
I eat very very little, maybe a three tablespoons as I do struggle still and I try to snack on nuts and drink protein shakes. I also consume lots of ice pops as they really seem to help.
I also take multivitamins daily (when I remember!). I would use the protein yoghurts but I just can’t bring myself to eat them anymore.
If you are thinking of embarking on this journey I wish you the best of luck, it’s certainly not easy but I would do it again.
