As I look to develop my writing skills and career it’s tempting to be suckered in to these, ‘Do you want to be paid £20 an hour to write content’ posts.
Well don’t you worry, this isn’t one of them. Rather it’s my warning of them.
If like me you don’t have money to fall back on, something like this looks inviting, after all who doesn’t want to be paid for doing something they love!
I saw these and my naive mind at first thought ‘wait are they advertising jobs on here? Wow, what an opportunity!’.
Let’s click on one and find out, oh you have job match’s! And you have to take their online course…. Which will only take an hour?!…. And is discounted from £90 a month to £1….. suspicious.
Wait. Don’t even go any further.
Yes it was too good to be true, and to make this worse, it’s a monthly subscription attached to your card details. Almost impossible to cancel. So now you are even worse off than you were before, still no job, paying out every month on a useless scam subscription.
These happen on every site you go to.
Don’t let it happen to you on this one.
And no, I didn’t subscribe, but yes I’ve been a victim of scams in the past. Cruel to take away from people what they do desperately need both socio economically and from the depth of their souls too.
