Moody teens

I took my teen out today, look round some Christmas decorations, garden centre, hot chocolate and sausage roll.

Bought a few special items.

I had a lovely time ignoring the sulking from the teen. The whole time. The hating the crowds. The sausage roll is disgusting. The hot chocolate was rank. The shops were boring. Her feet were cold.

I then went to a card shop and bought a very cheap teddy green dinosaur which I chucked in the boot while I went to buy meat for dinner; leaving grumpy teen in the car while I did so.

I came back to the car to big smiles and ‘ROAR’, had I known it only took a cheap green dinosaur to cheer up a sulky teen I would have bought that first thing this morning!

So my advice is, treat sulky teens like a toddler and have a happy day.
