Torn

The knife comes from an invisible source

Pain searing through my abdomen

I struggle to move

Like a fire has been ignited

Burning from the inside

Searing flesh

Pain relief is useless

And so I sit

Motionless

Patiently waiting and breathing

For this pain to end

When will it end.
