Don’t step on a crack…

Are you superstitious?

When I was a youngun, the poem was, don’t step on a crack or you’ll break your back

No walking under ladders.

A black cat crossing your path is a good omen.

Finding a penny brought you luck for the day, pass it on you will have luck for a year.

Breaking a mirror, seven years bad luck.

I used to hop over cracks in the pavement, walk round ladders, salute magpies, etc.

Now, I believe we are the creators of our own luck, we make choices good or bad, we can choose to isolate or mingle, be kind or bad, we can choose to educate or eliminate. We make our luck based on our choices. Luck is just a game of chance like life, grab opportunities and reach for your goals, that’s not luck, it’s a conscious decision to decide your own fate and opportunities.
